We will be raising money for Paws & Prayers Pet Rescue! \n5K $25 Race Day $30\, 1 Mile Walk $15 Race Day $20 *kids under 10 walk free does not include t-shirt. \nAll participants will receive a custom race bib\, finisher medal\, shirt\, and snack bag! \nTiming and tracking done by GCXC. \n​Prizes will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers.​ \nPacket pick up will at 7:30 am at Bauman Orchards. \nThe 5k will begin at 9:00 am and 1 Mile walk at 9:10 am. \nPaws and Prayers Pet Rescue will have adoptable dogs on site! SUMMARY:Goat Derby Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Annual Goat Derby at The Winery at Wolf Creek! \nRepresentatives from Paws and Prayers and three other animal charities will be on hand to talk about their work and all of the great things they do for our four-legged friends. Guests can place donation ‘bets’ on their pick for the winning goat.  All ‘bets’ placed on the Paws and Prayers goat go directly to support the mission of Paws and Prayers! \nDress up in your best derby attire for a chance to win a costume contest for BEST DRESSED and BEST DERBY HAT so be creative! Each winner receives a trophy and some quality time with the winning goat. \nWine\, Beer\, and Signature Cocktails will be served all day both in the tasting room and in the tent. Food Trucks and snacks will be available the day of as well! \nTickets to the Goat Derby are free! Ticket registration is appreciated to help in our planning purposes. Goat Derby VIP access tickets are also available! VIP tickets include exclusive red carpet entry into the Great Room for a private viewing area of races\, a private bar\, restrooms\, and catered food. \n**This is not an event for dogs to attend.  Dogs are welcome at monthly Yappy Hours.**
