Annual Goat Derby

Join us at the Winery at Wolf Creek for the 2024 Annual Goat Derby on Saturday, May 4th!

While we can’t say that these nanny goats move at lightning speed or even in a straight line, each goat will be ‘racing’ for some great animal charities. There will be races throughout the day, costume contests, food trucks, and of course derby derby-themed cocktails!
Representatives from animal charities (including Paws and Prayers!) will be on hand to talk about their work and all of the great things they do for our four-legged friends. Guests can place donation ‘bets’ on their pick for the winning goat.
Dress up in your best derby attire for a chance to win a costume contest for BEST DRESSED and BEST DERBY HAT so be creative! Each winner receives a trophy and some quality time with the winning goat.
Wine, Beer, and Signature Cocktails (mint juleps, obviously) will be served all day in the tasting room and the tent. Food Trucks and snacks will be available the day of as well!
