Paws and Prayers’ mission is multifaceted; to best serve the communities we work in, we are proud to offer several programs and services:
When possible, Paws and Prayers offers rehoming assistance to owners when extenuating circumstances may arise that prompts the need for this service. Our ability to assist with surrendered pets is contingent on the availability of foster homes and/or the owner’s ability to foster their own pet through the rehoming process.

Paws and Prayers is proud to be a Pets for Patriots partner to help pay it forward to our nation’s veterans and service members. Dogs and cats over two years of age, those with special needs, and/or those over 40 pounds may qualify for a discounted adoption fee for pre-approved Patriots. Approved patriots will also receive discounted veterinary care and more through the Pets for Patriots program. To apply for this program and for information, visit their website HERE.
Paws and Prayers shows thanks for those who keep our local communities safe by offering discounted adoption rates to first responders in any field (e.g. police, fire, EMTs, and other emergency services). With proof of employment as a first responder, approved adopters qualify for a 20% discounted adoption rate on any animal over two years of age.
Paws and Prayers understands the desire for companionship in all stages of life; to encourage adoption of senior pets, approved adopters at or over the age of 60 qualify for a 25% discount on the adoption fee should they choose to adopt a cat or dog 8 years or older.
Paws and Prayers supports our mission by educating the community through outreach events, lectures and providing ample volunteers opportunities to those in our communities.
